Marugal is currently recruiting a Cluster Head of Operations. This position could be based in Palma de Mallorca or Madrid.

Main duties:

  • Organise and supervise hotel operations.
  • Achieve an excellent customer experience: ensure the quality and service levels established for each hotel.
  • Prepare, present and account for the annual operating budget.
  • Budgeting with general managers.
  • Control and monitoring of the operating budget: supervision of revenue and cost control with the management of each hotel.
  • Design, ensure and control the implementation and compliance of standard and specific operating procedures established in each hotel.
  • Participate in hotel openings where required.
  • Support, when necessary, the human resources team in the management and selection of staff.
  • Provide ideas regarding communication and marketing management.
  • Review the current month's rates and transmit to the revenue department any comments that may be useful.
  • Attend Marugal meetings to be an active part of the team.
  • Have communications with the hotel owners when necessary.

Minimum requirements

  • Degree in Hotel Management or similar.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Native English is a must.
  • Desirable Spanish and French.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Analytical mindset.
